About the Role:
Nestled in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, this reputable and vibrant aged care organisation provides exceptional aged care services across residential, community and retirement villages.

Role Overview:
The Procurement Officer will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services without compromising on quality.
The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining smooth operations within our aged care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the aged care sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs.
Manage procurement records and analyse data for budgeting and decision-making purposes.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:

Qualification in a related field to Procurement.
Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role, preferably in aged care, healthcare, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of contract management, e-procurement, and online marketplace systems.
Familiarity with the aged care quality standards would be desirable.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
Australian Drivers Licence.
