Want to work in and contribute to the NSW Public Health System? Commencing in January 2025, this role can be based from St Leonards, Sydney or our Head Office in Newcastle. We operate more than 60 laboratories and around 200 collection centres across NSW and conduct over 60 million tests per annum. Our network of pathologists is supported by scientists, technicians, and support staff who quickly and accurately assess samples so clinical teams can make the best possible treatment decisions for patients. Our Forensic & Analytical Science Service provides independent, objective analysis to the NSW criminal and coronial justice systems. The Procurement Compliance Manager will lead the NSWHP tendering program to maximise value for money while ensuring compliance and adherence to Procurement Policy and Procedure and mitigating legal, reputational, and financial risk. Our successful candidate will have a balance of procurement experience and analytical experience, and a sound understanding of NSW Health Procurement Policy and Procedure.

Apply now by addressing the following questions: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Procurement, or a related disciplineMinimum 3 years hands-on experience from an analytical/procurement/finance role within a large and complex organisation.Demonstrated proficiency with data manipulation, effective oral and written communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset.Understanding ethical and privacy considerations, comfortable with evolving data tools and methodologies.Able to extract valuable insights and communicate findings to drive data-driven decision-making.Sound engagement, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build, maintain and use relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers.Capable user of Oracle, PowerBI; and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Competent and confident in planning own time and setting priorities to achieve agreed objectives with the resources available and within set timeframes. Working Rights:
This position is a permanent position. To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency. Please note: A person who is not an Australian citizen or a permanent resident is only eligible for temporary employment for a period not longer than the duration of their current visa.
