This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to drive ethical, sustainable procurement practices. The ideal candidate will ensure all procurement activities align with legal, ethical, and corporate responsibility standards.
We are seeking a dynamic Procurement and Governance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will drive social value initiatives and ensure procurement activities align with our governance standards and corporate responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies that promote social value, governance, and ethical sourcing.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainable and inclusive procurement practices.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and best practices within the procurement and governance framework.
Provide expertise on market trends, supplier engagement, and risk management to support the organisation's objectives.
Monitor and report on the impact of social procurement activities and governance measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

A degree and/or professional qualification in Law, Finance, Management, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline is essential.
Demonstrated experience in procurement, with a focus on social value, governance, or similar fields.
Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse supplier relationships.
Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of ethical procurement practices.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across multiple business units.
