Permanent part-time role (45.6 hours per fortnight)  Salary (Level 5 Officer): $89,898 - $93,906 per annum (FTE) inclusive of annual leave loading plus superannuation Based at Hilton, SA Car parking onsite What you'll do The Procurement and Contracts Officer is responsible for ensuring procurement activities undertaken at the City of West Torrens are within policy guidelines and contracts are managed to ensure their integrity is sustained. In this role you will provide solutions and advice to key stakeholders on procurement activities including requests for quotations/tenders, panel and contract development. In this role you will provide administrative support to the Team Leader Procurement, which includes reviewing tenders documents, drafting agreements, collating tender submissions and updating templates amongst other tasks. You will be required to confidently interpret the procurement policy to provide solutions to procurers. Managing the Council's contract register is paramount to this role and requires attention to detail, succinct communication skills and Excel proficiency. You will be responsible for filing electronic records in the document management system, following a pre-set nomenclature. Please click on this link for the full position description.  Who you are:  You are reliable, motivated and have good organisational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities. You have an eye for attention to details when interpreting procurement policy and analysing spend data.
