Job Summary: You are experienced in purchasing, managing contracts and daily procurement activities. You are passionate about finding the best deals and negotiating with suppliers. You are eager to learn and improve your purchasing and procurement experiences. You want to join a well-established business and be involved in day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
This is a perfect position for someone looking to further their career in procurement and enhance their purchasing, negotiating and analytical skills. There is also an opportunity to take the next step in your career and move into the operations team down the track. This position will be based at our office in Surry Hills and occasionally you will be visiting our warehouse in Marrickville. Training and mentoring will be provided, so apply now.
Key Responsibilities:

Obtain quotes for a diverse range of commercial cleaning consumables and equipment.
Process orders and ensure accurate data entry of orders, goods transfers, supplier invoicing and client invoicing in the ERP system.
Analyse procurement data and provide insights to key stakeholders.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Source new suppliers and evaluate existing supplier contracts and terms.
Liaise with the Operations team on field and operational requirements.
Oversee warehouse activities in conjunction with the warehouse manager.
Perform administration duties including some packing, unpacking, and answering phone calls.
Adhere to all office policies and procedures.

Skills & Experiences:

Must have strong MS Excel skills.
At least 1-2 years' experience in purchasing, contracts, and procurement processes.
Strong negotiation and communication skills are a must.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and enjoys solving problems.
Eager to learn new tasks and improve current processes.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
