The opportunity
We are seeking experienced Subcontract Specialists to join our Brisbane team. This role emphasizes impactful responsibilities that are crucial to the success and efficiency of procurement operations.
Responsibilities: Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance. This role drives and guides crucial negotiations of pricing and contract terms and conditions.Developing, implementing, and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with suppliers and relevant stakeholders, which is a critical part of the role.Collaborating closely with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.Managing the category Key Supplier List (KSL).Leading supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.Participating in supply chain process improvement teams and identifying improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies. Experience/Qualifications Minimum 5 years Indirect Sourcing & Contracts ManagementFavourable CIPS / MCIPS QualificationStrong Negotiation SkillsUnderstanding of Contract lawRelationship Management Skills
