UGL Defence has recently been awarded a contract for the Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance of the Defence Fuels Network.
As we enter the long-term contract, we are recruiting a Senior Procurement Advisor to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
The Role Reporting to the AIC & Supply Chain Manager, the Senior Procurement Advisor will support the Project Portfolio Manager with all procurement requirements in the Projects (Survey & Quote) Team.
Work with SC Manager to develop procurement plan for project works Manage Tender process including engaging and negotiating with Australian and International subcontractors and suppliers Lead and manage the entire procurement lifecycle for all S&Q/project works on the DFN Engage with key stakeholders internally and externally including operational team, legal and commercial, external suppliers Provide governance, advice and guidance regarding UGL's procurement policy requirements and industry best practices What we are looking for: To be successful in this role, you will have experience leading procurement activities autonomously in a broad stakeholder environment.
Relevant degree or qualifications within law, business, engineering supply chain, procurement or project management.
CIPS or equivalent will be highly regarded Proven experience working with complex subcontracting and procurement environments is essential Strong understanding and working experience of subcontracting commercial instruments, their terms and negotiation Self-motivated and driven individual with exceptional communication skills, proven experience across various level of internal and external stakeholders Currently holds, or ability to obtain relevant Security Clearance UGL – Big projects.
