Job Description The Opportunity:
As a Procurement Administrator for ACCIONA Construction Australia's National Project Controls Team, you will play a key role in enhancing our Procurement and Subcontract Management operations. In this role, you will manage and qualify supplier accounts, provide crucial support for procurement and vendor management systems across multiple projects, and contribute to business and process improvement initiatives.
You'll also act as a bridge between project teams and the project controls team, ensuring clear communication and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of our procurement efforts, drive positive change, and make a tangible impact on the success of our project.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for daily tasks related to supplier management for ANZ projects and businesses, including managing supplier registration and qualification process. Provide procurement and vendor management system support to ANZ projects and businesses, including managing user access and troubleshooting issues. Deliver procurement and vendor management system training to project and business users. Attend online meetings with project teams and the headquarters team in Spain as required. Assist with reviewing and reporting on system usage and data quality across ACCIONA's ERP systems. Assist with creating and improving procedures, flowcharts, guidelines, and training materials. Assist project teams and businesses in optimizing the procurement processes and the usage of systems. Assist with group procurement reporting tasks. Required Skills and Competencies: Prior experience in managing procurement packages, subcontracts, variations, and payment claims is highly valued, particularly in large civil construction projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, intermediate level of Word, PowerPoint. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic team environment. Excellent time management skills to handle heavy workloads efficiently. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Commerce, combined with a solid understanding of project procurement and vendor management processes, are highly preferred.
