Mining - Processing (Mining, Resources & Energy) Strandline Resources Limited is an ASX listed mining company with an exciting pipeline of growth projects across Australia and Tanzania. We are currently ramping-up operations at one of the largest mineral sands mines in the world right now in Western Australia. The Coburn project will produce critical minerals of zircon, titanium and rare earths - products that are used in everyday life applications. We are seeking an experienced Processing Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will provide leadership and supervision to a team of process operators across Dozer Mining Units (DMU's), mineral separating plant (MSP) and wet concentration plant (WCP). This role will be on a 15:13 roster FIFO from Perth or DIDO from within the Gascoyne region. Your role Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of DMU, MSP and WCP operational function to supervise all Plants simultaneously Responsible for the day-to-day production operation of the DMU, WCP and MSP to achieve budget targets Assist in the development of the training packages, priority operating systems and procedures and the subsequent roll out to the operations team to ensure personnel are trained and competent Involvement in the recruitment and selection of the operations team including onboarding Provide operations expertise to all stakeholders to ensure a successful start up Provide unrelenting proactive safety leadership Ensure DMU, WCP and MSP are at their respective operating parameters Cultivate target culture and Strandline values through workforce Ensure compliance to all operating licences conditions Assist in the development of systems and procedures and ensure workforce compliance for the safe and efficient operation of the processing plants and associated infrastructure Provide leadership across processing operations to ensure business KPIs in safety, production and costs are achieved. This includes workplace inspections to ensure workplace is free of hazards and ensure regulatory compliance Proactively engage with all stakeholders eg safety, environment, maintenance and technical to ensure performance of processing plants is aligned with business expectations Production supervision with a high focus on the development and training of all operators Adherence to company policies and procedures, operating budgets, and strategic plans All aspects of production and operations related to the processing plants and non-process infrastructure Liaise with Metallurgists regarding operating parameters and technical issues in relation to plant operation Deputise for Production Superintendent as required About you Demonstrated production shift supervisor experience at a minerals processing plant Prior experience in plant commissioning and/or plant ramp up valued MSP Control Room operating skillset required and/ or WCP Control Room operating skillset Demonstrate professional acumen within shift management decisions through your clear decision-making skills Ability to consolidate and analyse information, provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude These additional certifications are viewed favourably but not essential: Cert IV in Process Plant Operations or a trade Cert III or IV in front line leadership or equivalent Our commitment to you Dynamic, responsive and with a can-do attitude - we find ways to make things happen together Encouraging an e nergetic, pro-active and courageous approach, w e celebrate success as we go As we grow, you'll grow with us.
