About us Image Resources is a growing mineral sands producer with an enviable portfolio of operational and development projects. Image Resources operated a highly successful mine and processing facility at its Boonanarring mineral sands project and has recently received approvals to commence works at its new Atlas Project which is located 180km north of Perth in Western Australia.
The Role Reporting to the Process Superintendent, an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Process Shift Coordinator to join the team at the new Atlas Operations. You will be responsible for daily supervision of process and production activities across site to meet budget and schedule targets in a safe and environmentally sustainable manner.
You will be responsible for:
Supervising team and daily activities to ensure operational, environmental and safety targets are met.Ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant within parameters to ensure integrity of the plant and continuity is not compromised.Accountability for execution of plans and schedules to meet changing conditions at the plant and associated work areas.Optimising product tonnes by forward planning and paying close attention to bottleneck areas.Ensuring all personnel are appropriately trained and developed so they are skilled to perform the allocated duties.Establishing and maintaining the highest possible standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in individual work areas and throughout the plant and associated area.Perform the duties of the appointed site Quarry Manager - Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 as required. About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Restricted Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency or currently working towards obtaining will be highly regardedCertificate IV in Leadership & Management or equivalentA minimum of 5 years' experience in a Supervisor positionA minimum of 3 years' experience in a mineral sands operationStrong sense of initiative, judgement and a degree of independence in identifying problems, finding solutions or preventative actions, and taking appropriate action to develop the capabilities, systems and performance of mine production functionsStrong commitment to Environment, OH&S and duty of care. You will have a positive and energetic style, with outstanding written and verbal communication skillsCurrent motor vehicle driver's license What's on Offer This will be a site-based DIDO role at the Atlas project in the Shire of Dandaragan, 2 ½ hours north of Perth and close to the coastal towns of Cervantes and Jurien Bay.
The roster will be 8:6 both day shift and night, staying in brand new camp accommodation facilities or live locally and commute from the Cervantes or Jurien Bay area each day.
