About the Role We are seeking a Process Plant Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the mine's wellfields and entire process plant, ensuring that it operates safely, efficiently, and within environmental regulations.
The role will be FIFO from Adelaide charter terminal direct to the Honeymoon mine site on an 8:6 roster. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor the wellfields and process plant, including the groundwater treatment plant, IX circuit, precipitation circuit, and the drying and packing plant. Ensure that the plant operates safely and within environmental regulations. Ensure plant housekeeping and cleanliness is maintained to required standards. Reagent unloading and ensuring that reagents are unloaded safely. Monitor process equipment and parameters to detect and resolve issues as quickly as possible. Perform routine plant checks and inspections and report any issues to maintenance staff. Record and report process data, including production, equipment performance, and maintenance activities. Collect and logging of wellfield and plant samples, including final product samples. Follow standard operating procedures, including start-up and shut-down procedures, to ensure safe and efficient plant operation. Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, wellfields, and engineering, to optimize plant performance. Participate in safety and environmental programs and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. General waste and low-level waste collection and disposal. Working in a relief capacity to cover the Control Room Operator's responsibilities as required and as part of personal development. About You You will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
Certificate III in Process Plant Operations or similar Experience in plant process operations or a related field, preferably in the mining industry Familiarity with process control systems and instrumentation Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
