The Opportunity We are seeking experienced Process Plant Operators to join our team in Bunbury at our lube oil refinery. In your role as a Process Plant Operator, you will hold a vital position in our operations where your primary responsibility is to ensure an efficient and safe plant operation of our lube oil refinery. 
These positions are on a Day/Night shift roster of 4 Days on, 4 Days off, 4 Nights on, 4 Days off. 
These positions are not a FIFO role and offers a great work & home life balance.
Key Responsibilities Process Plant operations including monitoring for stable production, troubleshooting and basic maintenance.Work closely with shift leaders to manage day-to-day Operations and help develop a robust, multi-skilled team through mentoring and training.Assist in shutdown maintenanceLoading and unloading of trucks, tankers and trailersWater chemical treatmentTank farm managementTroubleshooting and rectification works within the plant operationsAdhere to safety protocols, identify hazards, and participate in safety initiativesPlant shutdown (minor and major), and plant start-up in a safe mannerWho are we looking for?  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Plant Operations.Strong leadership capability and experience in leading a team (desirable)Experience in Shutdown (Minor/Major) planning, execution and close out is an asset Knowledge of control systems (DCS/HMI/PLC & SCADA systems)Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAble to be reliable and flexible in working a rotating shift roster that will include shutdown worksExperience in equipment isolation, permit to work and job hazard analysisWhat We Offer: If you have experience in this area and are willing to contribute as part of a high-performance team, this is a perfect role for you.
