Process Operator (Crushing Assistant) - Proserpine Mill

About The RoleWe are looking for a Crushing Assistant to join our team at Proserpine Mill, in the Whitsundays. This is a permanent role at our sugar processing facility that involves shift work during the crushing season, including weekends and overtime, as well as day work during the maintenance period.As a Crushing Assistant, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the milling train, including turbines and boiler generators. You will also assist shift trades, operators, and the Operation Coordinator as needed.
The OpportunityWhile the following qualifications are required for this role, we are willing to provide training for candidates who demonstrate the right aptitude and fit within our team: Turbine High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)Confined Space certificationWorking at Heights certificationStrong communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to provide regular and accurate feedback on work status.
