Process Op - Collar

Collar Group is seeking applications for Processing Operators and Senior Process Operators to join our client for some fixed plant operators at a gold processing plant.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities Safely and effectively operate the process plant and related support systems such as crushing, grinding, gravity, leaching/adsorption, elution and tail disposal.
Monitor equipment on an ongoing basis to ensure safe and cost-efficient operations.
Record operational and production data as required.
Report and rectify any variances to production targets to minimise interruptions to the process to maximise production.
Conduct regular sampling, testing and quality control activities.
Inspect, clean and change screens as per requirements Unblock chutes and transfer points.
Shut down, start up, monitor and adjust production circuit as required Respond rapidly to malfunctions and abnormalities in the production circuit React quickly and efficiently in emergency shutdowns and power failures Identify and communicate maintenance requirements, perform minor repairs and assist the maintenance team as required Identify and communicate safety, environmental and production issues on a shift-by-shift basis to the Process Supervisor Maintain a high level of health, safety and environmental awareness and comply with all relevant policies and procedures Maintain good housekeeping, resource conservation, spill prevention and the appropriate disposal of wastes Recognize, report, and manage/control any potential or actual hazards identified Assist with the training of new team members as required Assist with other duties as required.
Specific Qualifications 2+ years processing experience, preferably in gold Competent to independently & safely operate multiple areas of the plant Ability to utilise Plant Control Systems such as Citect – Desirable Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights Ticket – Desirable Gas Test Atmospheres, Loader, Bobcat and Forklift Tickets Desirable Basic understanding of Microsoft Office advantageous Current WA (or other Australian State/Territory) manual driver's license Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen APPLY NOW: If you meet the above requirements and would like to be considered for this role, please submit your interest using the ' Apply ' button below.
