Process Improvement and Quality Engineer Reporting to the Production Manager, the Process Improvement and Quality Engineer will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in quality assurance, process analysis, and project management.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that align with the organisation's quality standards and continuous improvement goals.
This position also involves a hands-on approach to executing improvements in production processes.

Position Responsibilities
Evaluate and Analyse : Current manufacturing and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement Root Cause Analysis : Conduct root cause analysis on inefficiencies and implement system-based corrective actions Statistical Monitoring : Utilise statistical methods and data analysis tools to monitor process performance and identify trends or issues Quality Management Systems : Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001:2015) and regulations Zero-Defect Mindset : Work towards instilling a "zero-defect to customers" culture within the organisation.
Process Improvement Initiatives : Lead Manufacturing initiatives and other process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma to drive efficiency and quality Training & Support : Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance practices, problem-solving, and continuous improvement techniques Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with production, design, development, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless implementation of process improvements Production Release Processes : Ensure robust production release processes are implemented with high accuracy and detailed oversight Documentation & Reporting : Create and maintain documentation for process improvements, quality assurance procedures, and progress reports Quality Audits : Perform regular Quality Audits and implement corrective actions and improvements to ensure sustained quality and efficiency Compliance : Ensure all processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies Hands-On Support : Assist in production processes when necessary to ensure successful implementation of process improvements Health & Safety Compliance : Adhere to OH&S responsibilities, ensuring a safe working environment Progress Reporting : Provide regular feedback to the Production Manager on workload status and completion #J-18808-Ljbffr
