Water Treatment Specialist
to our team at Century Mining Pty Ltd Karumba Port Operation.
As a vital member of our Karumba Port Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our business continues to monitor and improve the operational performance of the Port water treatment and processing systems by providing technical support to Operations and Maintenance.

Key accountabilities:
Provide technical support to ensure operations processes, systems and standards are maintained.
Enhance and maintain optimum water treatment systems and production processes.
Develop and conduct test work programs to diagnose issues and identify areas for process improvement.
Manage process system data including data validation and reporting.
Contribute daily to the Operations team.
Key technical skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
Relevant equivalent qualification in Engineering, Chemistry, Water Treatment, or substantial experience.
Experience in chemical and engineering production process fundamentals applied to water treatment and concentrate production.
Experience in monitoring and operation of activated sludge water treatment process (Preferred).
Exposure to base metal concentrates dewatering and drying.
Process control system knowledge.
Project management, prioritising, budgeting, forecasting and cost control skills.
Ability to work constructively with Operations teams, with business partners and to work autonomously to achieve business deliverables.
Experience with remote site work is highly desirable, or a similar working environment.
