Process Engineer - Carbon Capture

We invite you to bring your expertise and join us as our new Carbon Capture expert.
You will be responsible for solving complex technical challenges in various industries (energy-from-waste, cement, chemicals) while working closely with clients and our other carbon capture experts in the global Carbon Capture Center of Competence at Ramboll.
Your carbon capture colleagues are located around the world in Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, UK, Australia, Singapore, and the US.
You will help close the gap between the current state and the desired future state of sustainable development in the hard-to-abate sectors.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:To solve distinctive, complex and challenging technical or business issues for clients within the Carbon Capture sphere.To act as a process engineer within the area and support the center's position as a technical competency center.To deliver engineering design to complex carbon capture projects.Your starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company.
For this role, we believe your starting point is:A PhD or MSc degree within a relevant scientific/technical/engineering field;Relevant work experience after the latest degree obtained.Strong technical acumen, professional experience, and relevant domain knowledge in carbon capture processes;Hands-on experience of energy and chemical modeling tools, such as Aspen, Promax, or Thermoflex.Relevant work experience from a Carbon Capture technology vendor or engineering company.Customer-oriented and characterized by a self-reliant, reliable, and structured way of working;Intercultural competence and international experience;Strong communication skills both oral and written and an ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management within the company and with potential clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners;What we offer youHybrid working: 2-3 days of mobile working per week possible.Collegial and helpful environment.Flat hierarchies and fast decision-making processes.Extensive opportunities for further training and development.6 weeks of vacation.Welcome to our Energy divisionRamboll is at the forefront of addressing the green transition and offers a holistic approach to energy that supports the sector on the journey towards more sustainable solutions.
