Probate Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Goldrick Farrell Mullan Lawyers are a leading boutique law firm with offices located in key population and business centres, providing a full range of personal and corporate legal services.
About the Role The position is primarily located at our firm's Sydney CBD office with one day per week at our Chatswood office. Flexible working arrangements are available. You will work closely with a friendly and approachable Special Counsel in our Probate and Estate Planning team.
Your responsibilities will be to assist with the day to day running of files including:
Drafting court documents for applications for ProbateDrafting Estate Planning documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Enduring GuardianProbate Application filing on NSW Courts OnlineManaging files and documentsCoordinating client appointments and meetingsLiaising with clients over email and telephoneAssisting Special Counsel with coordinating and overseeing tasks delegated to law clerks within the teamPerforming other administrative tasks as requiredKey Selection Criteria We are looking for an applicant with the following attributes:
At least 3 years experience as a Probate Paralegal or legal assistant;Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task;Ability to juggle competing demands;Strong attention to detail;Strong written and verbal communication skills;Ability to work in a team;Ability to coordinate and oversee tasks delegated to law clerks within the team;Strong Client Service focus and passion for helping people; andAbility to take ownership and care for your work.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
