Private Credit Associate/Senior Associate Description

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead the execution side of the business and also be involved with sourcing transactions for the team. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, based in a modern Sydney CBD office.

What you'll do: Analyse the financial health and performance of corporations Assess risk profiles and develop financial models to support various transactions Perform detailed cash flow modelling Run due diligence for credit transactions and prepare credit papers for approval by IC Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders The ideal candidate for this Investment Associate/Senior Associate role will bring a wealth of knowledge in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics. You will have a deep understanding of corporate financial statements and key ratios along with familiarity with complex loan structures and terms. Your proficiency in analysing large data sets coupled with your ability to perform cash flow modelling will be essential. Experience with financial modelling and scenario analysis is required along with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary for report writing and presentations.

What you bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics Ideally 3-5 years experience within a Bank or Financial Institution working within the complex corporate space. Understanding of corporate financial statements and key ratios Familiarity with loan structures, terms and structured finance products Proficiency in analysing large data sets and loan-level data Ability to perform cash flow modelling Experience with financial modelling and scenario analysis Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations What sets this company apart: Our client is a strong and established private credit firm.
