About the Role: Ensuring all participant supports and programs align with the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct. Mentoring support staff to align with a strengths-based & person-centred approach. Supervising Support Staff to assist participants with all aspects of daily life including personal care, attending appointments, engaging in the community, planning events, and working towards a fulfilling life. Developing support plans to address meal preparation, community inclusion, and daily support needs. Monitoring documentation for accurate reporting and tracking of information. Empowering participants to make their own choices and grow their independence. Advocating and creating meaningful professional relationships with participants, their families, and stakeholders. Managing support staff in collaboration with leadership to implement professional development processes. What we need that is extra but essential: Ability to identify gaps/risks and collaborate to find solutions. Knowledge and understanding of incident management, reportable incidents, and safeguarding participants. Open to feedback and can convert that feedback into changes and growth. Attention to detail, reliability, and awareness of team dynamics. Open to new ways of doing things. Employment Requirements: Current Full South Australian Driver's Licence (essential). Certificate 4 Disability Support (Preferred) or a minimum Certificate III in Individual Support. Relevant NDIS/DHS checks and clearances in accordance with the role requirements. Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain). Medication Administration Certificate (Face to Face Assessment based). Current Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain). Current Through Their Eyes Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
