The successful candidate will build, document and implement technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks.
Role responsibilities: Provision of sound advice and recommendations regarding technical specialisations and their application.Utilise appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures.Support the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of specific infrastructure components in proposed implementations.Actively participate in a team of specialist technical resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.Perform administrative functions and other duties as directed by the supervisor.You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience: Demonstrated ability, or the ability to quickly learn Service Now and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management.Demonstrated knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the following:Directory technology concepts, i.e. eDirectory, Active Directory, LDAP, and any scripting skills such as PowerShellLinux based operating systems, specifically SLES or Open Enterprise Server would be well regardedIdentity management concepts, specifically any NetIQ IDM would be well regardedWell-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work in individual or team situations and communicate clear explanations regarding information technology related problems.Specific Working Conditions: Participate in on-call arrangements may be required for this position.
