About the role:
In this role you will:
Manage relationships, negotiate, develop and prioritise across multiple clients/projects.Develop, implement and evaluate strategic engagement plans, identify risks and opportunities to respond to Regional and Rural communities priorities and issues.Promote departmental initiatives, programs and events in your region to ensure awareness and engagement.Support senior officers with preparation for inter-departmental meetings and represent the Department at meetings and local events as required.This position requires: There are no mandatory requirements for this role however, possession of qualifications in project management, community engagement or a related field is desirable.Training in IAP2 preferable but not mandatory.Travel away from the centre will be required, which may involve travel outside of normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation for extended periods.It is highly desirable that applicants reside in the relevant regional location and have a current knowledge of local issues.Possession of a valid driver's license.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
