The Role The MarTech Consultant (ANZ) is part of the ANZ Leadership team, working closely with the ANZ Country Manager and locally based ANZ team. Reporting to Head of Technology Solution Consulting based in India, this role is a pre-sales focused consulting role, part of a collaborative team which co-creates and designs innovative, data-driven solutions for our current and prospective clients. The MarTech Consultant (ANZ) will play a lead role in defining Marketing Technology (MarTech) strategy, architecture, design and implementation based on client's business and customer initiatives. Solutions will encompass a broad range of technologies and platforms within the MarTech, Data, Cloud and Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) landscape, especially Marketing Automation, CDP, CMS, Loyalty, and other data & analytics-intensive solutions. Your Key Responsibilities: Here's what you'll be doing day to day… MarTech Solution Strategy: Define strategy & technical solutions for clients across a broad range of verticals and provide innovative new ideas to drive 'Return on Data' from current and future state technology solutions. Contribute to our client's data-driven customer experience strategies based on industry best practices. Participate as a subject matter expert in business development activities including but not limited to running discovery workshops, current technology assessments & future state definition, building RFP responses & proposals. Cross Functional Collaboration: You will be closely engaged with client partners, practice leads, technology partners and delivery engagement leaders to shape solutions towards clients' explicit needs. You will assess and recommend MarTech platform-oriented solutions and closely collaborate with a global distributed delivery team to convert client visions to reality. Architecting: Construct a technical architecture of multiple solutions fitting client's needs. Select and review technology frameworks and architecture used on projects. Identify, assess and solve complex business problems through in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Communicate: Articulate the transition from current to future state in consideration of the future needs of the business, security policies and requirements. Break down complex business and technical strategies and roadmaps into consumable requirements for teams to execute against. Conceptualize: Share knowledge and thought leadership externally and to the rest of the organization, including recommendations on technical direction as well as team professional development. Research and present new technology trends. Estimation: Participate in discovery of project requirements, scope and provide recommendations for strategy and overall program requirements. Create or contribute to project delivery estimations based on your recommendations and provide realistic level of effort estimations. Your Experience & Intangible Traits: The ideal candidate for the MarTech Consultant position will possess the following competencies: 10+ years of experience in MarTech strategy, design, development and ongoing managed services and support of mid to large-scale customer applications. 5+ years of experience in client-facing technology consulting roles (preferably in a consulting/agency service business). 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing complex customer journeys, personalization, and targeted customer offerings through use of CMS, CDPs, data lakes and analytics solutions, which extend or integrate with digital experience platforms. Experience within the MarTech landscape including any of the following is a plus: Braze, Salesforce, Adobe, Acquia, mParticle, Treasure Data, Tealium, Segment, Databricks, Snowflake, Medallia, Qualtrics. Leader in digital marketing trends, best practices on topics such as personalization, loyalty, mobile, data-driven optimization of experiences. Ability to define conceptual technology solution and articulate the value of technology to drive creative marketing platforms and present technology solutions to both technical and non-technical clients. Ability to methodically estimate technology execution scope of work in terms of budget and resources. Ability to leverage existing technology tools plus additionally research and apply new and experimental technologies to achieve business goals. Ability to translate client goals into achievable technical specifications. You Are: Client-Facing, often sitting face to face with prospective customers to shape technical solutions.
