We have over 400 staff across our 13 offices across Victoria and NSW.We are looking for a Principal or Senior Town Planner with a passion for innovative design & outcomes. Beveridge Williams aims to incorporate sustainability in all projects as part of a progressive goal of building sustainable communities. This opportunity will be ideally based out of our Sydney CBD office but could equally work from our Central Coast or Western Sydney (Oran Park) office if more suitable.The leading candidates are expected to have the following:Personal AttributesLeadershipDisplay leadership skills when dealing with clients, Council, colleagues & other personnelMentor and lead junior staffWork in a team environment providing planning advice, advocacy and assistanceRepresent Beveridge Williams' clients at hearings & consultative forumsManage projects on behalf of the company and clientsProvide direction to clients, Council and other involved personnel regarding the progress of projectsProjectsProject management of assigned planning applicationsEngage and manage subcontractorsDeliver quality results within budget and agreed time framesProvide strategic planning support for proposals and projects as requiredPrepare submissions/quotations to existing and/or possible sources of workProfessional AttributesDegree in PlanningPreferably a minimum of 7 years' experience working in the development industry or similarUnderstanding of planning and environmental legislationAbility to conduct and understand technical analysesAt Beveridge Williams, we have a unique culture that helps attract and retain team members.
