Beveridge Williams is a privately owned multi-disciplinary environment and development and infrastructure consultancy renowned for its expertise in town planning, surveying, civil engineering, traffic & transport engineering, urban design, environmental engineering, and landscape architecture. We have over 400 staff across our 13 offices across Victoria and NSW. We are looking for a Principal or Senior Town Planner with a passion for innovative design & outcomes. Beveridge Williams aims to incorporate sustainability in all projects as part of a progressive goal of building sustainable communities. This opportunity will be ideally based out of our Sydney CBD office but could equally work from our Central Coast office in Tuggerah if more suitable.
The leading candidates are expected to have the following: Personal Attributes Display leadership skills when dealing with clients, Council, colleagues & other personnel Mentor and lead junior staff Work in a team environment providing planning advice, advocacy, and assistance Represent Beveridge Williams' clients at hearings & consultative forums Manage projects on behalf of the company and clients Provide direction to clients, Council, and other involved personnel regarding the progress of projects Projects Project management of assigned planning applications Engage and manage subcontractors Deliver quality results within budget and agreed time frames Provide strategic planning support for proposals and projects as required Prepare submissions/quotations to existing and/or possible sources of work Professional Attributes Degree in Planning Preferably a minimum of 7 years' experience working in the development industry or similar Understanding of planning and environmental legislation Ability to conduct and understand technical analyses At Beveridge Williams, we have a unique culture that helps attract and retain team members.
