Principal Schedule Analyst

Policy, Planning & Regulation, Government - State (Government & Defence) Full time The role will work within the Program Performance unit, Operations Branch.
You will be tasked to manage high-quality program and project scheduling governance and reporting to support the successful on-time, on-budget delivery program and project needs of the organisation.
Success in this role means you will provide expert advice to program and project delivery teams to ensure departmental milestone outcomes are met.
Key responsibilities will include: Managing and providing support and governance advice on scheduling and reporting milestones to facilitate project and program delivery and management requirements.Collaborating with program and project stakeholders across the organisation to analyse, develop and maintain accurate and timely schedule reporting on capital infrastructure projects.Maintaining alignment of schedule information to scope, cost and risk models and controls.Developing, managing, and implementing policies, procedures, registers and associated tools and training for schedule quality assurance activities.Researching, analysing and interpreting issues relating to project milestones and associated data, through ongoing master data audits and data reconciliations in project systems.Developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders that manage, report, and deliver the capital infrastructure programs.The successful person Undertakes objective, systematic analysis and draws accurate conclusions based on evidence.Recognises the links between interconnected issues, thinks laterally and promotes improved work practices.Monitors project progress and adjusts plans as required.Commits to achieving quality outcomes and adheres to documentation procedures.Discusses issues credibly and thoughtfully and presents persuasive counterarguments.How to Apply To apply for this exciting opportunity, please submit your resume including two referees who have a thorough knowledge of your capabilities, work performance and conduct within the previous two years and answer the following questions within your application:
