Our strategy is to focus on creating a safe work environment where our employees feel strongly connected to our values and objectives, and where the capability of our people is key to our success.Come and be a part of this success.About the RoleAs part of the global Technology Architecture team, you will be based in Adelaide or Brisbane and fulfill the following responsibilities:Partner with regional architecture, delivery and operations teams to ensure that architecture foundations and fundamentals are relevant and promote the reuse of standard reference architecture & patterns for delivery velocity & quality.Provide required services to regional teams on strategy development & portfolio planning projects with significant architecture changes, critical system operation issues, creation of technology domain strategy & roadmaps.Drive delivery of global artefacts (Standards, Patterns, Guardrails etc.) as required.Develop architecture designs (at conceptual and logical level) of large and complex systems in the enterprise with the aim to make the systems sustainable and future-proof after they have been realized and to provide risk management and risk controls to programs and projects carrying out enterprise transformation and realizing large and complex systems.Support Technology Strategy, Standards, & Architecture Roadmap development and work with domain architects & SMEs to develop related implementation options.Mentor and develop Minerals Americas Technology Teams and build awareness of BHP standards, design patterns and reference architectures.Participate and contribute to the appropriate Architecture Governance processes as required including conducting reviews and coordinating as required.Member of leadership team - Advise senior regional leadership on technical challenges, strategy, resourcing, and ways of working.About YouYou will have the following skills and experience:Ability to design & deliver contemporary layered application/architecture stacks.Experience with Archimate and Enterprise Architecture modelling toolsets.Ability to design & facilitate workshops with business & technology stakeholders to support architecture activities.Experience with design and implementation of Industrial Applications.Experience in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models using AWS or Azure.Experience in Application / Technology portfolio management processes.Experience of working in a close Agile / Scrum team to deliver high value focused solutions with velocity.Experience Cyber security to help develop and evolve the company's security strategy.Pragmatic approach to problem solving.Bachelor or higher degrees from STEM schools.TOGAF or similar certification.About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
