The Role: We are seeking a Principal Quality Officer to join our dynamic Safety and Quality team based in Brisbane. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of ongoing compliance with aviation regulatory requirements and operational excellence. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Develop, implement, and manage an Approved Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) which assures ongoing compliance with Part 145 of the CASR 1998.
Develop a robust audit schedule and undertake audits of QGAir and external supplier processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and identify quality improvement opportunities.
Develop, implement and manage the organisations Management of Change (MOC) processes, ensuring the effective and efficient identification and management of associated hazards and risks whilst maintaining compliance with CASA regulations.
Develop, implement and manage the organisations document control systems and processes to ensure personnel have access to current, approved and controlled data and documentation.
Research, analyse, and prepare high level reports and presentations to QGAir senior leadership in the performance of QGAir's QMS, recommending improvements and corrective action when required.
Develop processes and procedures for the ongoing maintenance of QGAir's Air Operator's Certification and training requirements to address potential deficiencies and implement changes for continuous improvement and CASA regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For: Mandatory
Ability to attain CASA Form 4 approval as Quality Manager
Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Highly Desirable
Lead Auditors Certification
Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment
ISO 9001 Quality Systems experience
High level knowledge of CASA (or similar NAA) regulatory environment.
Aviation Operations (Fixed and Rotary Wing) auditing experience
Project Management methodologies
Staff management experience within a quality assurance environment
Proven track record of developing and managing quality systems and quality assurance programs.
