The First Nation Strategy and Partnerships team is looking for someone who is eager to lead, plan and develop resources to build teachers capabilities to engage with the cross-curriculum programs in teaching and learning.

An exciting opportunity for an energetic knowledgeable candidate to join our dedicated team and work with First Nations Strategy and Partnership team Central Office. This role will specifically concentrate on working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders delivering focus on equity and excellence to Queenslanders and their communities.

About the Role:

As a Principal Project Offer you will provide high level specialist curriculum, assessment, and strategic advice to senior management on achieving education excellence in strategic curriculum initiatives and cross curricular priorities. You will develop resources, provide training and mentoring support for school/regional staff to enhance cultural capability and understanding of culturally responsive teaching practices.
Responsibilities include:
Establish productive education networks and maintain positive relationships and partnerships with team members, Regional Offices, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and a range of internal and external stakeholdersPrepare briefing materials, correspondence, submissions, papers and reports on related activities of the branch.Develop, promote and facilitate the implementation of state wide policies, guidelines and practices.Develop strategies and work in partnerships to embed principles and strategies for effective education in response to the needs and capabilities of learners.Support relevant regional based personnel to deliver programs and relevant strategies.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
