About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Office of the Chief Executive as a Principal Project Manager - Child Health Strategy, where you will be responsible for:
Work closely with the Chairperson(s) of the statewide Child and Adolescent Health Community of Practice (CAHCoP) to coordinate, develop, and implement activities from the CAHCoP workplan, including those aligned with the health reform agenda.
Lead complex projects identified by the CAHCoP, including those from the SA Health Commissioning and Performance agenda.
Leverage political astuteness to support the development of statewide paediatric services.
Promote links between metropolitan and country services across the continuum of care.
Develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders, including CAHCoP working groups and the SA Health Commissioning and Performance Division.
Identify needs, determine priorities, and plan clinical services for statewide child and adolescent service improvements in South Australia.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A contemporary professional practice portfolio containing evidence of postgraduate qualifications, learning and practice experience that demonstrable application of knowledge and skills commensurate with the level and type of work expected of this position.
Proven experience working in a senior-level management role, including liaison with clinicians and stakeholders, negotiating positive outcomes, and managing significant statewide projects.
Demonstrated experience in contributing to the development and implementation of agency or government policies, including changes to policies, procedures, and processes in a health-related area.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to foster and maintain professional relationships with a diverse range of health professionals, staff, and consumers.
Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative, with the capacity to deliver accurate and relevant findings.
Demonstrated self-direction and ability to produce results, meet critical deadlines, achieve deliverables, work effectively in a team with minimal supervision, anticipate change, and influence others in adapting to change.
