ABOUT PERTH OFFICE
South32's corporate office is based in the heart of Perth's CBD.
The corporate office houses key functions including HR, Finance, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Group Risk and Technical.
Our office is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the Perth Underground Train Station.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a permanent position on a Monday-to-Friday basis.
This role will preferably be based at our head office in Perth.
As the Principal in HR Planning & Performance, you will be responsible for supporting and executing components of the planning, prioritization, progress reporting, continuous improvement, and governance practices of the HR function.
This role will provide an opportunity to work on matters that span the Function globally, with exposure to a variety of HR team members in different sub functions and operations.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
• Coordinate activities, reporting and facilitate the HR Business Plan, Monthly Priorities, and Integrated Planning process;
• Partner with the HR Leadership Team to continually monitor, manage, and improve performance to plan;
• In partnership with the Reporting & Analysis team, lead the embedment, co-ordination and ongoing maturation of the tiered Performance & Reporting Framework across the function;
• Partner with the HR Systems & Applications, Reporting & Analytics, HRS, HR Operations & COE teams to identify priorities and performance improvement opportunities based on functional performance metrics results and emerging themes;
• Support the Manager with activities to enable a Continuous Improvement Culture across the Function.

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
• Advanced organisation and business planning skills
• Previous business partnering / or experience in a HR Services role
• An ability to use data to identify themes and deliver continuous improvement outcomes
• Reporting & Analytics exposure & Organisational governance
• Design and delivery of frameworks and group level documents
• Influencing and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues at all levels & working in a global or multi-jurisdictional organisation.
Qualifications for this position are:
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
