Principal Planning Officer - Bundaberg

The Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning is seeking an experienced Principal Planning Officer to join the Bundaberg team. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver high quality development outcomes across the state of Queensland. As a team member of the Planning and Development Services division, in Planning Group, this is your opportunity to contribute to regional development through statutory and strategic land use planning services provided by the department in a regional setting.
The position is a part of the Wide Bay Burnett team that delivers customer-focused, high-quality planning and development outcomes for current and future Queensland communities. You will have the opportunity to contribute technical expertise and planning and development best practices to the regions we service. Each regional office focuses on assisting local governments in implementing the States Assessment Referral Agency (SARA), the teams play a critical role in assessing development applications on behalf of the State.
