This includes providing deep technical knowledge and hands on experience with multiple areas of the team's operations including; Monitoring, Detection & Alerting systems Technical Investigations Hunting Activities Threat Intelligence Automation & Orchestration As Principal Intel Security Advisor, you operate as a thought-leader who can own, influence, and drive various aspects of security throughout Suncorp.
The role may focus on multiple aspects of the security portfolio.
This critical position performs an essential role as coach and mentor to staff and management, whilst providing security leadership and direction to the business on significant initiatives whilst driving a security-aware culture.
What you'll bring 10+ years substantial hands-on IT Security experience.
Experience leading incident response, running high performance detection/alerting systems, and performing technical investigations.
Expert knowledge of detection and alerting, incident response, technical investigations, hunting, threat intelligence, automation.
IT and IT Security experience within a large organisation.
Specialised knowledge of tools, tactics, techniques, and processes of attackers.
Active participation in industry IT security groups, forums, and information exchanges is desirable.
