The Cardiology Unit is looking for multiple Principal House Officers to join their team. Provide clinical care under supervision and acquire the skills, training, and knowledge in the practice of adult cardiology.

About the Role The following position reports to the Director of the Cardiology Unit:
Fulfill the accountabilities and responsibilities of this role in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives. Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds. Provide ethical decision-making in the achievement of organizational objectives. Provide inpatient and outpatient care by: Assessing adult cardiology patients, determining and instigating appropriate investigations. Establishing management plans for patients in consultation with the Consultant cardiologist. Where appropriate, ensure discharge planning commences early in the process of care. Communicating assessment findings, proposed management plans, and alternatives to patients and carers and seeking consent. Ensuring treatment orders are appropriately documented (including medications and general management plans). Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.
