Your New Role

The Principal Global Risk Communications will play a key role in the Leadership Communications & Colleague Connection and Organisational Resilience Teams.

You will work closely with Group Risk and Line 1 Risk professionals across the Fund to ensure appropriate internal communications strategies are developed and executed which are aligned to our target culture and supports the delivery of the target operating model for risk as a critical enabler of the Fund's 2035 Strategy.

You will have the ability to quickly develop strong and trusted relationships with a range of internal stakeholders and will develop and implement internal communication strategies to support the execution of strategic initiatives designed to enhance and modernise the organisation's risk management culture, structure and framework to build organizational resilience.

Key duties include but are not limited to: Supports the design implementation and successful execution and embedding of the Fund's refreshed risk framework.Contributes to building a global risk performance culture that is consistent with the AustralianSuper aspirations outlined in the Fund's 2035 Strategy, drives sustainable change and builds organizational resilience.Nurture and maintain internal relationships across all levels of the Fund.Support the Head of Organisational Resilience and Head of Leadership Communications Colleague Connection to ensure program implementation integrates and partners effectively with relevant organisational functions, initiatives and processes, such as Strategy, Fund Services, and Colleagues and Culture.Support the preparation for Chief Executive, Executive, Board and other senior leaders across the Fund with guidance and coaching on how to communicate with impact on the importance of the program of work.Support the Head of Organisational Resilience to communicate key performance metrics for the program of work.Lead the team to operate and make decisions according to the Fund's Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund's Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities. What You'll Need 15+ years' working in a similar in-house or consultancy role is required in this role.Prior experience within internal communications experience in the finance sector and knowledge of the regulators of this sector.Experience in change management communication is essential.Demonstrated internal communications experience in risk excellence communications.Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills.Demonstrated experience working to tight deadlines and managing competing priorities with a razor-sharp focus on delivering outcomes aligned to strategy.
