You will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers in producing technical work packages and documentation in accordance with the clients' requirements and respective design standards.
You will manage, control, and coordinate the programme of design works to time, scope and budget, ensuring all safety, quality, regulatory and environmental requirements are met.Who are you?
To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate:Demonstrated experience of leading teamsProfessional experience in design of AC Power substations.Ability to conduct technical checking and verification of design packagesPrior experience of Defence projectsWorking knowledge of AS/NZS and Defence electrical design standards and practices.Working knowledge of electrical design software: ETAP, CYMCAP, PowerCad or similar.A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar to allow eligibility for membership to the Institution of Engineers Australia in the category of Chartered Professional Engineer.Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to resolve complex technical and operational problems and issues.Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to achieve agreed targets and timelines using effective teamwork and delegation.What we do: KBR's Infrastructure Services Australia business offers a wide range of professional consulting services to private and public sector clients to deliver projects of any size in both urban and remote environments in transport, water and environment, buildings, defence infrastructure and program management consultancy.At KBR, we value you – here's how: We can offer you flexible and family friendly working arrangements including flexibility with hours as well as your work location.
