About the RoleWorking with independence and responsibility, the role will partner across the business in supporting the delivery of positive contractor safety through end-to-end contractor management standards and strategies.
Providing advice in relation to governance and risk related matters while continuously promoting contractors as part of our workforce across BHP systems and processes.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
The custodian for the OS contractor management framework which includes ensuring alignment to the global standard.Drives business improvement through the measurement of BHP's performance.Provides the tools and supports the management of vendor/customer selection, contracts, and performance to maximise operational and financial outcomes and mitigate BHP's exposure to risk.Makes evidence based and strategic decisions in alignment with longer term business objectives.Identifies, engages, and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.Designs and implements governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across BHP.Applies an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.About YouPractically apply structured problem solving to develop countermeasures that address the root cause(s) of problems.Significant experience in producing clear, precise and useful content for policies, reporting and other internal publications.Significant experience in managing and delivering projects, including cross-functionally and across multiple Assets.Significant experience in BHP Operations / functional roles to understand Governance and Risk models as well as how to successfully navigate the organisation.Proven experience in collaborating with relevant stakeholders to generate outcomes that will deliver business value.About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
