This is an ongoing role located in Central Sydney, with flexible working options.
About the role This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the Energy Security Safeguard, which is an important component of the NSW Government's Net Zero Plan.
As the Principal Business Analyst, you will lead the business analysis process for the Energy Security Safeguard team.
You will interpret complex legislation and turn it into actionable business requirements.
This role will facilitate process design improvements across the team and support the development of requirements for our internal systems.
Critical to this role is the ability to build effective relationships and to work across both the operational teams and IT.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
You will have the ability to assess the impact of legislation on business processes, systems, and operations and apply complex legislation into actionable business requirements.
You are an innovative thinker and passionate about driving the development of solutions that are fit for purpose.
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex issues into everyday language.
You will be a self-starter who is proactive and thrives on delivering outcomes.
You can effectively manage competing demands and adapt to change.
The salary range for the position is $139,060 - $147,644 per annum + superannuation and annual leave loading.
