Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)Government - State (Government & Defence) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights Cyber Security Program is looking for a Principal Business Analyst to lead, manage and undertake the business analysis activities such as requirements validation, gap and impact analysis, documentation of current state and future state business processes for large scale ICT projects in Cyber Security domain ensuring the delivery of valued, integrated, and effective business solutions to the program/project(s). This role will have a number direct reporting staff and will require leading and managing the team's quality deliverables.Are you right for this role?To be a successful candidate for this role, you will be required to:Demonstrate experience leading and managing business analysis activities within IM/ICT projects preferably in the health care industry.Demonstrate experience leading business process modelling activities and requirements definition for large scale complex organisations, preferably using Business Process Modelling NotationDemonstrate high level knowledge and application of appropriate business analysis frameworks, and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Version 3.0 (BABOK).Prior experience in managing and validation of outcomes produced by external vendorsProven ability to lead, manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders including mentoring other business analysts within the organisation.Proven effective consultation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills for use in a project environment is essential.Prior experience in cyber security domain (preferred).Key Responsibilities:Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above.Provide high level expertise, analysis, coordination, and support for the timely delivery of project artifacts within business analysis remit.Lead the analysis of business requirements and system specifications and provide expertise to ensure specifications are aligned to business requirements.Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, configuration and integration specifications and traceability matrix.Liaise with respective project management team to provide ongoing support to all cyber projects to ensure timely delivery of project artifacts by ensuring their business analysis needs are addressed efficiently.Establish and maintain productive professional networks across eHealth, Hospital and Health Services, the Department of Health and other key stakeholders to foster ongoing collaboration and enhance organisational maturity.About Digital Solutions Delivery Branch- eHealth Queensland:The Digital Solutions Delivery Branch is Queensland Health's trusted partner and advisor for digital health project delivery excellence.
