About us:Nalco Water, an Ecolab division, provides process and water treatment chemical and equipment solutions, with a customer base that includes major ANZ Mining and Heavy Industrial businesses. The support we provide on our customer sites includes solid-liquid separation, antiscalant, dewatering, cooling water, boilers, reverse osmosis and wastewater applications.

About the role:We currently have an opportunity for a hands-on Business Development Director to join our Nalco Water team specifically to drive growth with mining/heavy clients across ANZ. In this senior role you will lead a small team, you will create and execute growth business plans to secure new customers, leveraging our innovative technologies and our unrivalled track record in the industry.You will spend time developing business plans and working closely with your Business Development team to position our solutions as a critical and reliable partner to our customer's operations. To achieve this, you will spend time with senior stakeholders at our customers and be comfortable negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes.

In this role you will be supported by a collaborative team and a wealth of resources from our Global business.

To be successful you will be an outstanding communicator that thrives on providing solutions to solve customer problems. You will enjoy building long-term relationships with prospects and customers and be motivated by customer satisfaction. This is a unique role where you will spend time working closely with decision makers in the boardroom and on the production floor. Your ability to connect with both sets of stakeholders will ensure your success.

Demonstrated ability to secure new business over both short and long sales cycles
