Mobile Capability Centre has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated team to support the ICT delivery of enhanced mobile capabilities.
In this role you will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary, agile team and delivery partners to identify and requirements and initiatives to transform and develop mission critical native applications utilised by our frontline offices with an develop mission critical native applications utilised by our frontline officers with an expending fleet of over 10,000 QLiTE (iPad/iPhone) devices across the state.
The applications including Bail, Site Safety (tyre deflation), Sudden Death Reporting and NextGen (with a strong focus on Domestic and Family Violence) are fundamental to the safety of our frontline officers and wellbeing of our community by providing access to critical information and providing the capabilities to preform key policing tasks.
The core capability requirements for this role are: • Undertake investigative work to identify and document business processes and ICT business requirements and recommending improvements.
• Develop models of business processes utilising appropriate modelling techniques to produce end to end service mappings.
• Formulate and develop strategies to facilitate organisational change and enhance business and service delivery outcomes.
• Analyse and assess business systems and work practices to identify and implement business improvement initiatives and work practices for improved end user experience.
• Provide high level expertise in establishing facilitated stakeholder workshops, surveys, client meetings and industry reviews.
• Escalate client issues with relevant technical teams through to resolution and closure whilst simultaneously managing client expectations.
• Establish, build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders and service providers to support the delivery of quality services to
clients.
• Mentor and share knowledge with other team members to contribute to the maintenance of high-quality deliverables.
• Assist in the identification of risks and issues that may impact the successful implementation of business initiatives.
Role Requirements: Highly Desirable Skills / Experience
• Certified business analysis professional (CBAP)
• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
• Contemporary knowledge of Agile and waterfall project management methodologies
• Prince 2, Managing Successful Projects (MSP) foundation/practitioner Desirable Skills / Experience
• 5 years' experience in a Business Analysis role
• ITIL V3 Foundation
