The Role
Global Solution Architecture (GSA) team is responsible for solutioning large deals revolving around themes like Managed Services construct, vendor consolidation, offshore capability center setup through BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer), cost optimisation, operating model transformation etc.
Principal Architects within GSA independently lead large (>50M) and standard deals (5-50M) by working across internal groups and technical competencies to create compelling and competitive solution proposals. The Architects have robust background of technology landscape, architecture patterns, frameworks, tools, processes etc. to execute multi service line deals.
Key Responsibilities Define, design, & build a strong, winning technology solution that addresses the client pain-points by translating a strong understanding of the client's business context. Independently lead both Large (>50M) and Standard technical (5M-50M) deals. Coordinate with all stakeholders (sales, solutions, operations, change management, pricing, transition, facilities et al) to ensure timely and high-quality proposal & response submission. Identify solution gaps, opportunity for new solution development. Develop solution strategy and roadmap aligned with win themes and selection criteria. Manage solution lifecycle (ideation to execution) & identify enhancement areas in new offerings, competitiveness as needed. Lead and contribute to technical estimation of the solutions. Design a technology solution that aligns with the larger engagement model across towers and jointly build engagement level transformation themes. Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and project managers, to understand the functional and non-functional requirements of a project or initiative. Design end-to-end solutions that meet specific business needs, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and integration capabilities. Analyse the existing technology landscape and identify appropriate software, hardware, and infrastructure components required for the solution. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure that the solution aligns with the organisation's technology standards, guidelines, and best practices. Evaluate and select third-party software and services that may be integrated into the solution. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions. Resolve design or implementation challenges during the development process. Collaborate with other architects, such as domain architects, to ensure alignment and consistency across the organisation's technology landscape. Resolve solution bottlenecks and drive consensus across groups. Actively engage in commercial discussions with pricing teams to achieve competitive pricing through implementation of all costing and productivity levers. Remove any impediments affecting solution process. Closely work with markets / accounts team to align overall response with client expectations. Required Capabilities and Experience Experience in creating robust Enterprise Technology Architecture and End to End solutioning. Excellent understanding of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) delivery / engagement constructs and operating models. Technology domain expertise and understanding of the various functions and regulations governing industry in complex engagements. Deep understanding of industry/ ICT trends, concepts, opportunities, threats & constraints. Ability to independently lead, solution and orchestrate Large Deals with diverse themes. Hands-on experience with responding to complex RFP (Request for Proposals), RFI (Request for Information), pricing, estimation, SOW (Statement of Work) and proposal. Ability to simplify complex problems, processes & projects into component parts, explore and evaluate them systematically. Effective executive communication skills to clearly articulate vision and lead effective teams across the enterprise; productively challenge counterparts, bringing valuable insights. Outstanding interpersonal abilities; skilled in managing solutions with executive leadership and business units, effectively aligning stakeholders to strategic plans and mitigating solution gaps. Excellent organisational and leadership skills to build strong solution function and lead by example; strong solution management, planning, conflict management, and operations skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
