Industrial & Employee Relations (Human Resources & Recruitment)Government - State (Government & Defence)The Principal Advisor (Workforce) will work within the Workforce team to deliver practical business outcomes to RoadTek's state-wide operations including:Provide high level specialist HR advice to RoadTek managers and leadersLead and manage investigations and reviews into a range of complex and sensitive IR and case mattersLead, develop, mentor and provide direction to the teamSome of your accountabilities will include:Manage end to end case management matters, including leading investigations, internal enquiries and recommendations to the delegateLead the investigation of industrial relations queries and reviews and provide high level advice to the team and RoadTek leadershipContribute to team leadership by supporting the Manager (Workforce & Capability), in a range of business activities such as process improvement, performance management and coaching of staff.Write and/or review complex reports, briefing notes, submissions and where required verbal briefings and presentations to senior management groups.While there are no mandatory requirements for the role, to be successful you will need:Demonstrated experience in a similar Human Resources roleThe ability to work under pressure in an environment of competing priorities and deadlinesThe capability to prioritise workloads and identify urgent tasks for immediate actionExcellent communication skills to articulate to a diverse audience in a clear, concise, and convincing manner.The ability to develop, maintain and foster strong relationships and partnerships with internal clients and external stakeholders and providers, with a focus on two-way communication.Your application should contain:Cover Letter - maximum of 2 pages outlining how and why your skills and experience are suited to this position, specifically relating to the functions outlined within the Key Responsibilities section of the position description.Resume2 refereesIf this challenging and rewarding role sounds like an opportunity that complements your current skills, experience, and future career plan, we encourage you to read the attached position description and submit your application.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/604596/24Closing Date: Friday, 29 November 2024
