About the opportunity The Principal Adviser, Planning and Environment, will work with the Director and Senior Planning and Environment Managers in the Land Planning Environment & Sustainability (LPES) division to perform planning and approvals activities for Suburban Rail Loop with a focus on supporting delivery of the project.
Your role will be responsible for contributing and providing sound advice on complex issues in relation to planning pathways, approval strategies, and environmental impact assessments to enable SRLA meet its environmental, business, and statutory objectives. This role requires someone to take a proactive approach and demonstrate a high level of analytical and problem-solving ability.
Reporting to LPES Senior leadership, you will also need to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, identify and manage project risks, and help develop the team's capabilities to support delivery of the Suburban Rail Loop.
