In the role of Principal Advisor, Information and Document Management you will be responsible for overseeing document management activities from a governance perspective, ensuring all technical and program documentation follows TMR standards. The successful candidate will be the principal point of contact for document management in the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) and will provide support to program-specific document controllers.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Assume accountability as the lead for the Information and Document Management function within the QTMP Program and expert provision of services across a complex project landscape.Develop and maintain the Information Management Plan for QTMP and procedures, standards and work instructions to ensure key objectives are met.Build and manage effective internal and external stakeholder relationships and project interfaces to support successful integration, delivery and continuous improvement to document management systems and procedures.Oversee the document control team to ensure team members are appropriately trained in document control processes and use of the QTMP's document management systems.Work across the full scope of the program of works, interfacing and collaborating with multiple functional and disciplinary leads and project teams.Develop and maintain documents, contractual correspondence through multiple document management systems, including InEight and Content Manager, as well as associated registers.Manage information security, document access, retrieval and distribution, while meeting records management compliance obligations in accordance with contractual requirements and departmental policies.Applications to remain current for 12 months Job Ad Reference: QLD/593878/24 Closing Date: Thursday, 10 October 2024 Further informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.
