Key Duties: Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum.Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.Skills & Experience: Unrestricted working rights in Australia.Current VIT registration.Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree).Demonstrate previous experience in general Primary in Australia.Graduates welcome to apply.Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).Offering: Commencing in Term 1, 2025 in a full-time, 1-year contract.Working as part of a supportive team, working with students in the junior years.Excellent location close to public transport.Engaging with accessible and transparent leadership.Salary commensurate with demonstrated expertise and time commitment.The School: Small school of under 700 students from F-6.Strong inclusion and positive behaviour focus embedded within the school culture.Accessible by public transport.Collaborative planning model with professional development opportunities.Why work with Tradewind?
