Foundation Christian College is seeking expressions of interest for a full-time Secondary Music Teacher commencing in 2025. Primary/Secondary Music Teacher (1.0FTE) We are seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher to join our team for the 2025 school year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students in Years 4-9, cultivating students' musical talents, and developing their appreciation for various musical genres.
This role requires strong expertise in music education, the ability to motivate and engage students, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Qualifications & Experience: Relevant Tertiary Qualifications as a teacher including experience with the WA & Australian Curriculum or a similar School Curriculum. All applicants must be registered to teach in Western Australia with the TRBWA (Teacher Registration Board), have a current Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children Check. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to ongoing professional development. Willing to be trained or have prior knowledge of Kodaly pedagogy.
