About the Role:
A rewarding opportunity awaits a committed Primary and/or Secondary French LOTE teacher to join a dynamic community at an F-6 school in Tarneit, nestled in Melbourne's West. This full-time, permanent position is available from Term 1, 2025. The school welcomes both fresh graduates and seasoned educators alike. Key Duties: Develop age-appropriate and engaging curriculum plans that align with the Victorian Curriculum for Primary/Secondary levels.Deliver effective and interactive French language instruction, focusing on vocabulary, pronunciation, and language structures.Introduce aspects of French culture into lessons through age-appropriate activities, stories, and projects to foster cultural awareness.Design assessments to evaluate language acquisition and provide constructive feedback to students.Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate French language and culture into broader educational themes and projects.Stay informed about developments in language education, attend workshops, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.Skills & Experience: Unrestricted working rights in Australia.Current VIT registration.Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary/Secondary French LOTE in Australia.Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).Offering: Full-time, ongoing.Starting Term 1, 2025.Instructing students from years F-6 or 7-9.Join a team of 4 French LOTE teachers in a collegial opportunity.Salary aligned with demonstrated expertise and time dedication.The School: Around 2000 students spanning from Foundation to Grade 6.High performing school.Modern facilities elevating the overall teaching and learning experience.An approachable management team with Instructional leaders in each learning community.Excellent mentor program for graduates and new teachers.Excellent student behaviour and whole school-wide programs.Abundant opportunities for professional development.How to apply:
