Pricing Actuary

Bluefin Resources is currently assisting our General Insurance client in Brisbane to recruit a Pricing Actuary for their personal line insurance pricing team. This is a highly technical role and will be leading a small team to ensure pricing decisions are based on robust data driven analysis and a deep understanding of risk-based pricing.Key Responsibilities:Leading a team of analyst/senior analyst to perform end-to-end pricing for the personal insurance portfolio through data analysis, modelling and implementation.Conduct technical analysis including building predictive models.Managing and manipulating large and complex data sets.Provide insights of the market trends and recommendations on pricing.Managing stakeholder relationships and assisting in the development of new pricing strategies.Role requirement:5+ years of general insurance personal line pricing experience.FIAA preferred but not essential.Programming acumen in either SAS, SQL, R or Python.Experience with pricing techniques, GLM or GBM are highly favourable.Apply now and we will get back to you as soon as we have reviewed your profile.
