Distinguished Commercial LawyerEstablished in Mildura, one of the oldest and largest law firms is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Lawyer to join their dynamic team at Prestige Staffing. This firm has a number of specialists who service both Victoria and New South Wales.
This position plays a pivotal role in managing complex legal cases and contributing to the strategic growth of the firm. As a senior lawyer, you will handle a diverse caseload, including contract disputes, property matters, and other common law matters, providing expert legal advice and representing clients in a range of personal and business disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, leases, shareholder agreements, and settlement terms.Preparing wills and estate plans for clients.Counseling on trusts and management structuring.Assisting with the sale and purchase of businesses.Representing clients in litigation proceedings.Requirements:Holding an Australian Practicing Certificate.Possessing a current police check.Requisite experience in relevant commercial law or adjacent disciplines.Strong communication skills.This role requires dedication to the profession, a focus on achieving solutions for clients, support for your team, and a willingness to thrive in a busy work environment. We offer a competitive salary of $160,000 per annum.
